Join lead trumpeter Jeff Kaye with his brass group, joined by Stewart Foster at the pipe organ in a program of holiday music and carols. The featured work will be an arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite.

Morning Worship Service
The Chapel Chorus, Chorale and Orchestra conducted by Dr. Llyod Mims, present “Many Moods of Christmas” by Robert Shaw, featuring well-known carols in a majestic, vibrant setting. Singers who wish to join the chorus for this Cantata are asked to attend at least two rehearsals, choosing from the following dates: November 19, 26 and December 3. Rehearsals are from 11:40am to 12 noon, in the Chapel. Musical scores will be provided.

The Kronberg Academy in Kronberg, Germany sponsors the world’s up and coming international classical musicians. Kronberg’s satellite office in South Florida often hosts events in our area to showcase these tremendous talents. Royal Poinciana Chapel is pleased to host a weekend mini-festival in 2018 to welcome several of these artists in the intimate setting of Seagull Cottage and the Chapel.

Starting with Wine and Hor d’oeuvres on the terrace with the fountains and beauty of the Kiebach Memorial gardens, followed by a sumptuous catered dinner in the Kirkman Social Hall, climaxing with the spectacular vocal performance of Victoria and her husband Bruce.

Introducing The Singspiel Series in Seagull Cottage With the Palm Beach Opera

Taken from the colorful German tradition of Operetta with spoken dialogue, this mini-performance series will highlight three brilliant singers from the Palm Beach Opera’s apprentice program. Directed and accompanied by Greg Ritchey, Assistant Conductor of PBO, each singer will present an enjoyable afternoon of singing and sharing their own individual musical personalities, in the intimate setting of the historic Seagull Cottage.
